Environmental Health Consulting (EHC) customizes a team to meet the needs of the project; we do not mold a project's needs around our staff.
We currently have the following individuals on staff:
We also maintain close relationships with independent contractors who meet our standards of excellence, with strong expertise, strong communication skills, and a strong ability to work as a member of a team.
Company president, Dr. Lara C. Pullen, earned her Ph.D. in Microbiology/Immunology from Northwestern University Medical School in Chicago, IL. She left medical research to join U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) as an Environmental Health Scientist. During that time, she worked on agency workgroups, developed and delivered training, set up conferences, planned research, wrote guidance and policies, reviewed research proposals, and briefed agency staff and management.
Dr. Pullen then turned her communication skills to medical writing. Subjects include drugs for the treatment of autoimmune diseases, attention deficit disorder, growth hormone deficiency, cardiovascular disorders, diabetes, menopause, and infectious disease. Dr. Pullen targets each assignment (whether written, on-line, or PowerPoint) to the needs of the specific audience.
In 1999, Dr. Pullen founded EHC. She brings the experience and knowledge of a scientist, a manager, and a small business entrepreneur to projects as they grow. Dr. Pullen has a track record of successfully managing budgets, meeting deadlines, flexibly responding to the evolving needs and priorities of a project, and communicating and coordinating a complex project with multiple players. As a manager, she balances multiple projects with distinct teams, delivery quality products in a timely fashion.
